Bump-Up.net is a public wall-posting service. Full details of the person or company operating it must be added before public trading. These draft terms describe the current implementation; they do not establish that the service is ready for public launch.
How the walls work
Fixed-price walls show their ten newest posts. Spotlight orders its latest ten posts by score. Posting spends the stated number of Bumps; likes and tip Bumps can affect scores. A payment does not guarantee a particular audience, ranking or duration of visibility.
Leaving the latest-ten display does not currently delete a post. Older posts remain stored and can still be accessed by their database reference until removed or deleted with the author’s account. There is no automatic expiry schedule at present.
Accounts and eligibility
Keep access to your sign-in provider secure. Do not impersonate other people or evade restrictions. The existing proposed account minimum is 13, but the final age policy and safeguards have not been confirmed. An age statement alone does not establish compliance with duties relating to children who may access public walls.
Bumps and prices
Bumps are in-app credits used for posting, tipping and other stated features. They cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred outside this service. The wallet shows a bundle’s GBP price and credit quantity before purchase. Price changes do not change a purchase already agreed. Test credits in the local development site are simulated and involve no real payment.
Keep purchase records. If credits are missing, a purchase is duplicated or something is faulty, contact support with the transaction reference. Do not include card numbers.
Payments cancellation and refunds
Your statutory consumer rights remain intact. These terms do not automatically waive a cancellation right merely because credits are supplied immediately, and refunds required by law are not discretionary. Where a lawful loss of a digital-content cancellation right is intended, the necessary express request, acknowledgement and confirmation must be implemented before relying on it. That purchase flow is not currently established here.
Unreceived or faulty credits and other valid complaints must be considered under applicable law. The operator must publish a verified support route, cancellation instructions and the relevant refund process before accepting live payments. A legitimate refund request or payment dispute is not, by itself, misconduct.
Tips and username changes
A tip is the current amount you give to a post. Changing it charges or returns the difference. Removing a tip currently refunds it only if the recipient still has sufficient Bumps; a failed change leaves balances untouched. This technical limitation does not reduce any rights you have by law. Your first username change is free; later changes cost 100 Bumps as shown before confirmation.
Your posts and conduct
You keep any rights you have in your own posts. You allow us to store and display them as necessary to run the service. Only submit material you are entitled to share. Follow the community guidelines. Public content may be viewed, copied or cached by other people; we cannot promise that copies outside the service disappear.
Moderation and complaints
We may restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary to address unlawful content, serious guideline breaches or security threats. Actions should be proportionate and explainable where appropriate. Complaints and appeals can be raised through Contact. The reporting workflow, staffing and response process must be operational before launch; this draft does not claim that they are already in place.
Your rights and our responsibility
We do not exclude responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent statements, or anything else the law does not permit us to exclude. Nothing here removes statutory rights relating to digital content or services. We remain responsible as required by law for foreseeable loss caused by a breach of our obligations. There is no blanket customer indemnity or zero-value liability cap in these terms.
Changes and account closure
Material changes should be explained with reasonable advance notice where practicable. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights from an existing purchase. You may stop using the service and use the account deletion controls in Profile. Contact support about any unspent purchased credits or unresolved claim; statutory rights continue to apply.
Privacy and applicable law
The privacy notice explains data handling. It is not a request for blanket consent. Any governing-law clause must preserve mandatory consumer rights and access to courts available under applicable law. The operator must confirm the appropriate jurisdiction before publishing final terms.
Contact and printable copy
Use Contact for support, privacy requests, complaints and appeals. The operator’s legal name, address and verified email remain launch requirements. You can print or save this page with your browser. A durable purchase confirmation and any applicable cancellation information must also be supplied for a real purchase.
Arcade rewards and scores
Arcade games have no entry fee. Signed-in members can bank a verified run after at least 20 seconds and within 30 minutes. Snake earns 1 promotional Bump per 5 coins, Bump Stack per 5 placed blocks and Memory Match per 5 matched pairs. Each game pays at most 5 Bumps in its rolling 24-hour window, starting with the first banked progress. Partial progress carries across banked runs within that window. The three current games offer up to 15 Bumps across their allowances; an overall rolling 24-hour ceiling of 25 also applies. Existing cooldowns from the previous reward policy are honoured until they expire.
A 25-unit game goal earns up to 5 Bumps; playing further can improve a leaderboard score. Starting a new run replaces the previous run. Scores enter the current GMT period when banked. Daily boards reset at 00:00 GMT, weekly on Monday, monthly on the first and yearly on 1 January. These are calendar board resets, separate from rolling reward windows. Best verified score per member is ranked first, with shorter run duration breaking ties. Rewards are non-cash site credits, with no random payout or cash redemption. Invalid replays do not qualify.
